This four days gorilla trekking safari is going to allow you watch one of the many Gorilla groups in Bwindi Impenetrable forest. Allowing you two good hours of interaction with these magnificent primates that about 99% of human DNA. You may as well have a community walk to see the Batwa people and see how they live their daily lives in the forest.
DAY 1: ARRIVAL AT ENTEBBE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport at 2pm, you will be met by Jeb Holiday Safaris representative who will transfer you to a hotel in Kampala City. Relax and rest as we prepare for tomorrow’s journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

DAY 2: TRANSFER TO BWINDI FOREST
In the morning you will have breakfast to drive south-west of Uganda. You will have stop at the equator for photographs, and in Mbarara for lunch. It takes about 9 hours to reach Bwindi in the late afternoon. You will then go for a walk in the surrounding communities. Dinner and overnight at the booked safari lodge.

DAY 3: GORILLA TREKKING DAY
On this third day, we rise early for breakfast, before the gorilla trek briefing at 8:00 am by rangers at the headquarters. We then set off for our African Mountain Gorilla Trekking adventure. Gorilla trekking is the highlight of visiting Uganda and one of the most memorable wildlife experiences in Africa. Embarking on this once-in-a-lifetime wildlife encounter we will view the highly endangered mountain gorillas in the wild. The guides lead you into the bush, pushing through the undergrowth to track the Bwindi gorillas. This gorilla walk can take up 2 to 6 hours, so a reasonable degree of fitness and a sturdy pair of walking shoes are a must, rain jacket, water etc. don’t leave food stuffs in the forest as a way doing wildlife conservation.
After our rewarding trek through the jungle, we sit in the forest among the gentle mountain gorillas, listening to them communicating with one another and watching them interact. After lunch in the forest, we take a well-deserved rest or enjoy some bird watching. Then we return to our lodge to relax and recuperate after our unforgettable gorilla trek in the Bwindi Forest of Uganda.
At the end of the day, we have dinner and unwind at our accommodation.

DAY 4: BWINDI IMPENETRABLE FOREST TO KAMPALA & ENTEBBE – UGANDA
On the final day of our Uganda Gorilla Trekking experience, we have an early breakfast before making our way back to Kampala and then Entebbe.
We travel via Mbarara and the Igongo Cultural Village where we encounter the Ankole culture that’s if we have enough time, depending on the flight time. At the Igongo Center we get a glimpse of the culture and ways of these Ugandan people, learning about their history. Lunch is enjoyed en route and we continue Entebbe for departure

PLEASE NOTE
In case the mentioned lodges are not available during the requested period, we will do our best to book a lodge in the same class for you (of course we will only do this after consulting you). It is not possible to ‘reserve’ gorilla and chimpanzee permits so we will buy them only after your booking and down payment. Permits also depend on availability.

Since Gorillas are wild animals Gorilla trekking doesn’t 100% guarantee you seeing the gorillas although chances of seeing them are about 98%.
Since climbing lions are wild animals, hunting them doesn’t guarantee 100% seeing the lions although chances of seeing them are high.
