Detailed Itinerary
DAY 1: ARRIVE AT ENTEBBE
You will meet a company representative with a tag of Jeb Holiday Safaris, he will then drive you to a hotel in Entebbe as you relax and wait for tomorrow to start your trip, during this period you can do some shopping. Dinner and overnight shall be at a luxury Protea hotel. This day can as well be prepared depending on the time of arrival into the country

DAY 2: DRIVE TO QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK
You will meet our driver guide at the agreed meeting point at the hotel where you slept. Then embark into a nine hours’ drive to Queen Elizabeth national park with the first stop in Mubende for road side barbeque and drinks. Then shall stop in for fort portal for lunch; proceed to the second last stop in Mweya at the equator. You will take photos and the check in to the hotel dinner and overnight at a booked hotel.

DAY 3: SAFARI AND BOAT TRIP
We shall start the day with an early game drive around Kasenyi plains; this will last for 3 to 4 hours, return for a late sweet breakfast. You will relax and wait for lunch followed by an afternoon recreation launch cruise that gives you the best chance to cruise just a few meters away from the highest hippo concentration in the world along with Nile crocodiles and wallowing buffalos while elephants linger on the shoreline of the Kazinga channel which is about 32km long adjoining lake Edward and lake George. This lasts for approximately 2 hours. Return to the lodge, relax wait for dinner and overnight

DAY 4: TREE CLIMBING LIONS ISHASHA DEPART TO BWINDI
Breakfast followed by a game drive to the Ishasha sector of the park in search for the rear tree climbing lions, this game drive might take the whole day so you will have packed lunch with you. You have higher chances of seeing countless herds of Uganda kobs, herds of cape buffaloes, great herds of elephants, the defassa waterbucks and vervet monkeys spotted within the transit to Ishasha. In the late evening after the search of the tree climbing lions, you will be transferred to Bwindi which is a one and a half hour drive from Queen Elizabeth to Buhoma Bwindi headquarters. Following arrival from the prolonged and tiresome game drive and transfer, refreshments will be served, relax and wait for your dinner and overnight at the safari lodge.

DAY 5: GORILLA TREKKING IN BWINDI FOREST
In the morning, you will have you breakfast and with packed lunch, you will move to Buhoma briefing Centre for tracking rules and guide lines, following briefing, a porter will be assigned to you, to help you carry your baggage for a convenient gorilla tracking. Gorilla tracking starts at exactly 8:00 am and it can last for a whole day depending on the time spent trekking, once a complete gorilla family is found, you will spend a full hour with them observing. This is indeed an extraordinary feeling being with these beautiful yet endangered creatures. The afternoon is free for you to enjoy other activities and excursions on offer in and around the national park like beautiful dances of the Batwa people, plays, storytelling and others to keep you entertained. Dinner and overnight at a camp / lodge.

DAY 6: DRIVE TO KAMPALA OR ENTEBBE
In the morning after breakfast, you will drive back to Kampala or Entebbe (Entebbe International Airport (EBB)) with an en-route stopover in Mbarara town for lunch and a brief stop at equator line crossing area for a photo opportunity and a bit of souvenir shopping. The accommodation for tonight is not inclusive in the program. If you wish to depart tonight from Entebbe International Airport, we shall then make sure you get there early in time.

Please Note:
In case the mentioned lodges are not available during the requested period, we will do our best to book a lodge in the same class for you (of course we will only do this after consulting you). It is not possible to ‘reserve’ gorilla and chimpanzee permits so we will buy them only after your booking and down payment. Permits also depend on availability.
